Real-time update!

Hi folks! Sorry for the delay in getting posts up about our travels—we’ve been moving around every two to three days so it’s been hard to find time to write and edit photos while still having time to explore and enjoy these places! Just wanted to give you all a quick update to let you know where in the world we are right now and that we are still alive. 🙂

We spent a little over two weeks in Ireland and then flew from Dublin to Amsterdam on the 18th. After four days in a lovely Airbnb in Amsterdam, we took the train to Bruges, Belgium. We are staying here for three nights and then to Brussels before heading to Paris (and my birthday!).

We are doing well: happy and healthy! We have been indulging in lots of local beers and treats, but are also walking about five to 6 miles a day. We didn’t really have time or the space to cook while we were in Ireland so we were mostly eating quick breakfasts, picking up sandwich stuff from the grocery store for lunch, and then eating out for dinner. Our Airbnb in Amsterdam had a good kitchen so we were happy to cook a few dinners for ourselves. We made sure to get apartments in our next places that have kitchens so that we can try to eat some healthier dinners (and save money!).

Martin has been keeping busy with his consulting, and we have both been spending a lot of time working on our itinerary and doing research about where to go, what to do, what to eat.

We will be nine hours ahead of California for the next few stops, but feel free to call/text anytime! (Our numbers are still the same.) I’ve been posting on Instagram (@martintata531) pretty frequently, so you can also follow along with us on there for more real-time photos.

We are doing really well and are having a really great time! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind so far, but we are looking forward to slowing down a lot once we get to Paris.

Don’t forget to keep us posted on your lives, as well!

Theo (& Martin)
